Werner has been trained as a Prosthetist and Orthotist with proven clinical excellence in both fields. He qualified in South Africa and was awarded with Best Overall Student. He worked in South Africa for two years before moving to Dublin, where he continued to practice both fields, running various clinics in Ireland. Following a move to Oxfordshire in 2006, he was appointed as opcare Centre Manager and Lead Prosthetics and Orthotics Clinician at Bournemouth Rehabilitation Centre. He also has a Postgraduate Certificate in Rehabilitation Studies and a Masters in Business Administration. Now, Werner works as the Clinical Lead Prosthetist/Orthotist and Expert Witness (Trained by Bond Solon) from various locations throughout the UK, but based mainly in Roehampton, London.
