Ability Clinic® is part of the Ability Technology Group, which has been providing prosthetic and orthotic care to private individuals and the NHS since 1989, following the McColl report. More than two decades on, we are the premier service in the UK and in Ireland, managing centres in Belfast, Bradford, Bristol, Cambridge, Colrane, Coventry, Dublin, Epsom and St. Helier, Exeter, Isle of Man, Manchester, Newcastle, Norwich, Oxford, Roehampton, London and Waterford. We are ISO 13485:2003 accredited and hold the ‘Investor in People’ award, and are dedicated to continuously developing our practices and staff to ensure we remain market leaders.

Since our formation, we are proud to have been proven innovators in our field. We introduced scanning technology to the European market in 1990s, and since then have developed this into our everyday practices. The Ability Clinic® is linked to Queen Mary’s hospital, which has been providing care to amputees since the beginning of the 20th century. Initially founded to care for wounded soldiers in the First World War, it has built up a reputation as the premier hospital in amputee rehabilitation. We continue to work very closely with the multi-disciplinary team at Queen Mary’s to ensure that we are able to offer a complete and up-to-date rehabilitation solution.
